Mental health trusts face funding cut

Kevin Friery‘s insight:

There is no health without mental health. The government’s refusal to fund adequate services means that even those with severe mental illness are not getting access to the help they need, which means those with mild to moderate needs get almost nothing,  What is more, the investment in mental wellbeing amounts to a lot of hot air and good intentions but completely inadequate investment.  Mental health is not for ‘them’, it is for all of us and we should all be angry at the way it is being sidelined.  Safe in their hands? Not remotely.
