A former defence secretary has been paid 3p of taxpayers’ money for a car journey he made of fewer than 100 metres, expenses documents show.

Kevin Friery‘s insight:

0.06 miles, he claimed for.  And he claimed for 0.54 miles and 0.98 miles.  His excuse? "My office does my expenses".  Can we all do that, then?  Just another Tory out of touch…
