When it comes to some of the health hazards of light at night, a new study in hamsters suggests that the color of the light can make a big difference.

It is always slightly teasing when scientists extrapolate from animals to humans, but in this case it may well be that the research on hamsters has highlighted something relevant to us all – worth looking at the glow of your clock or other light sources in your bedroom.
